THERE is still time to submit nominations in recognition of the hard work and dedication of youngsters in Stockton.
The Stockton Mayor's Achievement Recognition Trophy awards were set up last year and nominations are now being sought for this year.
Positive work in education, volunteering, sport and the arts are all recognised.
Parents, teachers and friends can collect nomination forms. The closing date for entries is February 21.
Once nominations are in, a panel of young people from schools around Stockton will choose the winners.
One of the judges, Marc Howells, from Ian Ramsey CE Comprehensive School, said: "It is a good opportunity for young people to get due recognition for their achievements."
Categories include educational achievement, educational effort, sport, community work, the arts, teamwork and volunteering.
Entry forms are available from libraries, schools and leisure centres, or from Stockton Youth Service by calling (01642) 393482
