VILLAGERS in Waterhouses, near Esh Winning, are being asked to help improve their community.
Environmental projects organised by the community association include litter picks in Deerness Walk on Sunday, in Cemetery Road on February 23, and in nearby woodland on March 23.
On April 23 volunteers will be clearing rubbish from the River Deerness, while on April 27 there will be the chance to plant tubs and baskets, and tidy gardens.
