STUDENTS will be leading an Oriental celebration tonight.
University of Teesside students will be performing a traditional lion dance to open celebrations marking Chinese New Year, which began at the weekend.
The evening will include a fan dance, a display of martial arts and the lion dance, performed by a group from Lancashire who recently came third in the British Lion Dance championships.
The celebrations start at 7pm at the university's campus in Middlesbrough.
