CRIMESTOPPERS wants to trace an elderly man in connection with the theft of thousands of pounds of gift vouchers from Boots in York.
The incident happened on Wednesday, November 13, when the man entered the shop on Coney Street at 9am.
While staff were elsewhere in the store, he approached an unattended till area and gained entry using a key. The man was caught on security cameras taking £5,000 worth of Boots gift vouchers before making his escape.
Anyone who recognises the offender or who has information surrounding the incident is urged to call Crimestoppers free on 0800 555111.
