A CINEMA, casino, hotel, nightclub and outdoor leisure facilities could help revitalise Redcar, planners have suggested.
Redcar and Cleveland Council is exhibiting plans for the Coatham Enclosure development at Redcar library this month.
Last week, Persimmon Homes announced plans for new homes, a £2.5m swimming pool and leisure centre at the site.
Now, the council, is seeking feedback about additional attractions at the 35-acre plot.
Chief planning officer Mary Edwards said the council wanted to create good visitor attractions and was considering all options.
Persimmon would then work on the details, in conjunction with the local authority.
More than 200 homes of different sizes are due to be built in what the firm calls an urban village, attracting up to £30m of investment.
Tees Valley Leisure, which runs sports centres in the area, is due to have talks with Persimmon.
