LUCKY Alison Gustafson is hoping to make her daughter's wedding a day to remember after winning the top prize in a recent competition.
The careers advisor, from Gateshead, has won £4,800 in the Visa Shop and Win competition at the MetroCentre.
Ms Gustafson said: "This is a dream come true for me as my daughter is getting married later this month. This couldn't have happened at a better time."
MetroCentre shoppers who used their Visa cards to buy goods before Christmas were entered in the contest, which also featured a daily prize draw for shopping vouchers worth £100.
l Bear in the Big Blue House and Winnie the Pooh are just two of the characters who will be performing when the Playhouse Disney Roadshow visits the centre's Exhibition Square from next Wednesday to Friday. Performances are at 11am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm each day.
From Monday to Sunday, March 2, the MetroGnomes will be spring cleaning in the Town Square, while the Little Tikes Roadshow returns to Exhibition Square on Sunday and Monday, and again the following weekend
