TEN people were arrested during a police operation in Stockton to target criminals in the area. The arrest day also resulted in 35 offences, including burglary and theft, being detected.
Detective Inspector Shane Sellers said: "I am confident this type of operation will result in a reduction of crime and will provide reassurance to the local community that the police listen to their concerns and are prepared to take positive action."
