A RANGE of activities are on offer at the University of Teesside to celebrate International Women's Day.
Based at the university's centre for enterprise, off Victoria Road, Middlesbrough, the two-day event at the start of next month is promising to provide an array of women's art, design and writing.
There will also be networking and seminar sessions explaining how creative endeavours can lead to business opportunities for women.
Carol Cooke, cultural and creative industries development manager, said: "We Create is an amazing celebration of the creative and business skills of women.
"As well as learning from the experiences of local leading businesswomen, you can create storyboards in animation, take part in textiles, design computer games, join writing workshops, take a virtual reality journey and much more."
All of the events that build up to International Women's Day on Saturday, March 8, are free except the screening of the film Rabbit-Proof Fence on March 6. Entry to that costs £4, or £3 with a Students' Union card.
To take part in the events, call (01642) 342 015.
