VILLAGERS in Bowburn got the chance to say what they would like to see in their community at an open day held by Durham City Council.
The event was held by the council's Single Regeneration Budget Six community team.
Visitors to the community centre were given the chance to comment on housing, the environment, shops and services.
Organisations including Durham Citizens' Advice Bureau and the Neighbourhood Watch Team were also represented.
The NEA, the national energy efficiency charity, provided free advice to visitors on how people can make their homes warmer and cut heating bills.
