MEMBERS of a residents' association in Hartlepool are celebrating after receiving a grant of £3,000 from the National Lottery's Awards For All Programme.
The grant will allow Brougham Area Residents' Association to buy a computer and accessories including a printer, digital camera, scanner and stationery.
It will also mean the group can produce newsletters and arrange social activities.
Thomas Stewart, vice-chairman of the group, said: "We are thrilled to get this award for a new group like ours it is a large sum of money and it will allow us to help local people. We have worked very hard over the last year to develop the association and are aiming to increase our membership.
