A FOOTBALL club has helped three apprentice chefs by presenting them with the tools of their trade.
In a ceremony at St James' Park, Newcastle United gave Michael Nesworthy, 22, Daniel Paton, 17, and Richard Kell, 17, uniforms and equipment.
Nancy Haughey, Newcastle United's catering department training and development manager, said: "The apprentice chefs at Newcastle United contribute greatly towards the success of the company. Once qualified, we hope the chefs will become full members of the team at Newcastle United."
