Redcar Glazing pulled off an exciting victory over Iceland. Coming back from 1-4 down to win 6-5, Iceland set their stall out to dominate Redcar Glazing and quickly took a two goal lead.

Redcar Glazing pulled a goal back only for Iceland to fire in two more before the interval. A complete reversal of fortune in the second period as Redcar Glazing hit four on the trot to shatter the confidence of Iceland who managed to make it 5-5 but conceded a late goal and also the match. For Redcar Glazing, Paul McCulloch scored a hat trick, Spencer Carter two and Carl Eddon one. For Iceland, Craig Owen and James McGowan got a pair each and one for Mick Martin.

Lingdale YCC were held to a 2-2 draw at home to D and L Locksmiths. On a pitch not conductive to good football this result was just about right. Peter Grimwood in the Lingdale goal saved a penalty from D and E but was beaten a few minutes later when Craig Bell got onto the end of a good through ball from Jonny Hill to open the scoring. Lingdale quickly hit back from the spot when Danny Harris was brought down and Simon Daynes converted. D and E again took the lead, this time it was Jonny Hill hitting home a close range volley. Both teams were tiring as the game progressed when Lingdale were awarded a second penalty, a replica of the first - Harris brought down and Daynes finished it off.

Jack and Jill, away to Priestfields, took command from the start and finished with an 8-0 victory. After last week's heroics when Priestfield made league leaders Poverina go all the way before emerging winners by the odd goal in five, this performance was just not on said Steve Wilson, Priestfield secretary. Gary Bytheway showed Priestfield how it was done by scoring a hat trick, Lee Duckling hit a brace, while Ashley McGregor and sub W Duckling got one each.

Cleveland Inn lost to Nestles Rowntree, at York, in the North Riding County Cup by 2-0. Cleveland prolific scorers in the league this season left their shooting boots at home. Confronted by two giant centre backs and a well organised defence they could not find the net. Nestle took the lead after ten minutes then took all that Cleveland could throw at them then doubled their tally late on to run out winners.
