NORTHALLERTON rider Paul Barker scored a hat-trick of victories at the Osbaldeston Premier Show, near Blackburn.

He won the 1.20m open and the ULR Stable Express 1.25m open with Waterford Lad, together with the 1.25m A4 on Jimmy Small's Temple Guess What.

Barker was also second in the Osborne Refrigeration Winter Grade C riding Temple Phoenix to qualify for the Royal International in July, besides being third in the Winter A&B Grand Prix on Blue Chip Kildalton Lad.

Stainsby Grange held a junior show on Sunday when Scarborough's Helen Webb was first and third in the 1.10m open on Diana's Memory and Canteeny, separated by John Bowman on Cavalcade.

John took the 1.15m select ahead of Diana's Memory and Stockton's Darren Smith on Mittenhill Classic.

Thomas Armstrong and Blackberry Whirl took the progressive ahead of Holly Davies on Western Andy, while Lucinda Gee took the Scope primary on H R Owen ahead of Amelia Green and Pendini.

The Tiny Tots had 12 sharing first place, with debuts from Thornaby riders Chloe Burns and Yasmin Tanfield.

Yasmin's cousin Pippa Allen took the 128/138cm championship on Midnight Dynamite.
