The two White Swan sides met at Crook in the Albert Vickers Cup and Evenwood came out on top. Gary Dowson (2), Chris Gill and Craig Wren were the scorers in a 4-1 win. Darren Deuchars scored the consolation for Crook.

Anthony Stewart gave Willington WMC a half time against Stanhope Town. There was little to choose between the two sides but Willington went further ahead through a Peter Franks penalty ten minutes from time. Stanhope pulled one back through Gavin Stephenson with three minutes left.

David Pakes was man of the match for Crook Wanderers in the Weardale Cup game at Roddymoor. Lee Furber put Wanderers ahead in the 20th minute and his second after 65 minutes ensured his side progressed after a close match.

Gary Crampsie gave Wearhead the lead against West Auckland Queens Head in the Colin Waites trophy. Wearhead gave a good performance but two late goals from John Dawson gave Queens Head a 2-1 win. The game was played at Wolsingham as the Wearhead pitch was frostbound.

The Bishop Rugby Club v Howden Australian match was postponed.

Post Boy 2 v 1 East End WMC

Post Boy moved into second place with this victory which was earned the hard way. Mark Maddison put the clubmen ahead in the first half only for Michael Armstrong to level and Darren Hewitson to notch the winner in the second half. Full back Darren McKenna was outstanding for the victors.

Archdeacon 3 v 7 Grey Horse

In very heavy conditions it was Archdeacon who made the running for the first 15 minutes, but they capitulated once Grey Horse had gone ahead and they trailed 4-0 at the interval. Grey Horse took their foot off the pedal in the second half which was more evenly contested, the team scoring three times each. But Grey horse were comfortable victors in the end. Scorers for Grey Horse Darren Tate (3), Peter Gormley (2) and sub Lee Rutter (2).

DRMSC Reserves 5 v 1 DGSOB

Rollys goals came in the first half as an excellent all round team performance saw them score through man of the match Andrew Shaw (3), John Neilson and Neil Willis. Old Boys picked up a little after the interval and grabbed a consolation goal which came via a penalty converted by Mark Sowerby.

In this all league tie Killie went through to the semi-final where they will meet Shildon Railway on March 15.
