A NORTH-EAST delivery company helped to raise £68,000 last year for the ChildLine charity.
DHL Newcastle joined a nationwide bid by the company for ChildLine, which helps children and young people in danger or distress.
Between last June and December, staff at Newcastle and other branches organised fundraising activities, from sponsored car-washing and head-shaving to fancy dress days.
They raised enough money to help ChildLine counsel 2,100 young people.
Wendy Dunwell, sales manager at the North-East branch said: "I'm very proud of everyone at DHL Newcastle who rose to the challenge."
