CHURCHGOERS are pulling out all the stops to have the latest phase in restoration of the organ at St Mary's parish church, Richmond, completed by early summer.
Work is under way to renew parts of the Harrison and Harrison organ and further work on the pipes is to be undertaken as funding becomes available.
An appeal has raised about £80,000 towards the project, but more is needed to complete the work.
The next fundraising event is a concert by the Teesside Male Voice Choir at the church on March 1, 7.30pm.
Tickets for the concert are £5, while accompanied children are admitted free. They are available from Richmond tourist information centre, committee members or at the door on the night.
