TWO people are believed to have died in a head-on collision near Darlington this morning.
Drivers on the A167 were this morning being diverted by police after the fatal accident between a lorry and a pick-up truck at 8.30am, just north of Croft and two miles south of Darlington.
Two victims were reported to be trapped in the wreckage and had to be cut free by firefighters.
