THE General Dental Council is looking for volunteers from the region to join the body which regulates British dentistry.
This is the first time the council has recruited members from the North-East.
Fifteen members of the public are needed for the Fitness to Practise panel.
Members of the panel, which will include 15 dentists and five dental workers, make up the committees which have to decide whether under-performing dentists can be allowed to continue practising.
