A YOUNG girl was presented with the ultimate prize yesterday when she won a fully furnished dolls' house.
Jennifer Cockburn, eight, of Belmont, Durham, was among five winners nationally in a competition set by the Formative Fun chain of educational toy shops.
It asked youngsters to count the number of Jack-in-the-boxes in the first issue of its in-house magazine, Jacktivity.
A winner was picked from each store, who went through to a national draw.
After her name was selected, Jennifer was invited to the Durham City branch, in Claypath, to receive her prize, worth more than £200.
She had the choice of two wooden dolls' houses complete with furniture for each room and a family of dolls.
Jennifer, a pupil at Belmont Junior School, said she would be inviting her friends round to play with the house.
