THE future of Stockton's transport network will be mapped out in a series of roadshows appearing across the town.
The roadshows, which allow residents to take part in the mid-term review of the Local Transport Plan, start on March 3 and encourage people to complete a questionnaire that will be handed out on the day.
It's hoped that, by completing the surveys, people will be able to say whether the plans are still relevant to local needs and priorities.
The shows, which will run from 9.30am to 7pm, will be taking place in the foyers of supermarkets around Stockton.
Everyone who completes a questionnaire will be entered into a prize draw with the chance to win supermarket vouchers, travel tickets and a mountain bike.
Venues include the Savacentre on Durham Road, Asda on Portrack Lane, Morrisons in Teesside Park and Safeway in Ingleby Barwick.
Fay Mackenzie, of Stockton Borough Council's transport planning team, said: "The purpose of the review is to assess whether the targets that were originally set in the transport plan are still relevant to local transport users."
