A STREET poet in Ferryhill is publishing an anthology of his work.
Anthony Fletcher, from Darlington, says he is an urban poet. He is putting the book together himself and said he will promote it in London before selling it in the North-East.
He said: "My poetry is for the modern generation. It is about nightclubs and going out and local issues, too."
His anthology, which he describes as "a biography of our generation", will be called Urban Chaos.
As part of his promotion he will visit poetry clubs in London, where poems are recited with music in the background.
Mr Fletcher, who spends much of his time writing in Llewellyns coffee shop, in Ferryhill, is also planning to turn some of his poems into song lyrics and put them to music.
