CALL centre staff transformed themselves into celebrities to raise funds for one of their colleagues.
Staff from the LE Group, in Sunderland, took to the stage as their favourite pop acts to raise £6,000 to buy a prosthetic limb for colleague Carl Morgan.
Mr Morgan, 18, a customer service advisor at the company, fell from the Wearmouth Bridge, in Sunderland, in August, and had an operation to have his leg amputated from the knee down.
To help him, his colleagues organised a Stars in their Eyes night at Sunderland's Lakeside Social Club.
There were eight acts, including Missy Elliot, Madonna and Cher, and the winner's trophy went to Annette Peverley for her performance as Tina Turner.
In joint second place were Alison Marie Bell and Marie Basilisco as The Cheeky Girls, with Lyndsey Williams, Claire Bates, Adele Wales, Hayley Cummings and Laura Elliott as Moulin Rouge dancers.
