WHEN chocoholic Stephen Gallagher was offered a job at a dessert manufacturers, he jumped at the opportunity.
Nineteen-year-old Stephen, from Winlaton, Gateshead, was not sure what he wanted to do for a career after completing a GNVQ in business.
He enlisted the help of Access Training, who found him a job as an accounts assistant at Artisan Foods, in Blaydon.
Stephen is now working towards accountancy qualifications and is also enjoying trying out all the latest desserts.
He said: "I am really enjoying doing my accountancy qualifications because they are beneficial to me, I can see how much it helps with my everyday work.
"Working at a dessert manufacturer is great, I get to sample them and I have not turned one down."
Irene Cole, from Access Training, which has training centres on the Team Valley Estate and in Sunderland, said: "Artisan Foods is a dream come true for those with a sweet tooth."
