CHILDREN in Middlesbrough are helping to raise money to provide clean water for 30,000 people in Uganda and Tanzania.
The children, who are members of the Saturday Morning Kids Clubs at the town's Southlands Leisure Centre, are holding a bring-and-buy sale in aid of an appeal by the BBC's Blue Peter programme.
Coordinator Diane Wilson said: "We are glad to respond to Blue Peter's appeal to raise money for the less fortunate people of Uganda and Tanzania."
The sale will be held at the leisure centre in Ormesby Road, on Saturday, March 8, from 1pm to 4pm.
