STUDENT Teba Diatta is hoping to win £100,000 on Channel 4's new flagship gameshow Boys and Girls when it begins tomorrow - but she'll see very little of the cash.
The journalism student at Sunderland University has been asked to appear on the first live show - devised by Chris Evans - where 100 men and 100 women fight it out for the big money prize.
The winner will have a week to spend £100,000 and it must be spent wisely. If they don't, then they lose it all.
That should not be a problem for Teba. Unlike most 21-year-olds, she does not plan to blow the money on a fast car and designer wardrobe.
Teba, who is half Senegalese, will spend the vast majority of her winnings on resources for a school in a village in Senegal, as well as paying off her parents' mortgage.
She said: "I spent a gap year in Senegal and I have seen how these people live - they need the money more than I do.
Boys and Girls, hosted by Vernon Kay, is screened at 9.05pm tomorrow.
