A GROUP of schoolchildren proved busy beavers as they constructed a willow tunnel and dome to improve their garden yesterday.
The work was carried out by pupils of Consett Infant School and Nursery Unit, in Consett, in their Early Year's Garden.
The Whitbread Willow Wonderland Walk was constructed under the guidance of Ruth Thompson, from Sylvan Skills.
The school is hoping for a grant to help its funding from Whitbread Action Earth Campaign. Whitbread provided tabards, certificates and stickers for the children, who are aged three to five.
