Durham Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) is holding drop-in sessions.
On Monday at Ludworth Community Centre, from 11am to noon and Homeside, Bowburn, between 12.30pm and 1.30pm; on Tuesday at McKenzie House, Esh Winning, from 10am to 11am and Bearpark Community House, between 1.30pm and 2.30pm; on Wednesday at Ushaw Moor Community House, between 10am and 11am and at Quarrington Hill Community Centre, from 11.30am to 1pm; and on Thursday at Woodland House, Kelloe, between 10am and 11am and at West Rainton Jubilee Hall, from 1.30pm to 2.30pm.
ALLOYS STOLEN: Three sets of alloy wheel trims have been stolen in Derwentside. Thieves stole a set from an MG, in Barley Mill and a VW Golf, in Hamsterley Mill last Thursday. Another set was taken from an Audi TT, in West Well, Ebchester, on Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to contact Consett police, on (01207) 504204.
COUNCIL SURGERIES: Barbara Howarth, Liberal Democrat county councillor for Belmont, will hold surgeries on Monday, in Carrville Methodist Church between 6pm and 6.45pm, and in Belmont Library from 7pm to 7.45pm. She will hold a further surgery on Wednesday in Belmont Community Centre, between 6pm and 7pm.
DIABETICS MEET: Durham Diabetic Club will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, March 11, at 7.30pm in the Diabetes Centre, at the University Hospital of North Durham.
PLAYGROUP SESSIONS: Chester-le-Street Community Centre holds a playgroup for children aged between two-and-a-half and school age, Monday to Friday, from 9.15am to 11.45am. For details contact 0191-388 4752.
SOCIETY TALK: Fiona Macdonald will give a talk, called From Romans to Ruins - Archaeology in Hardwick Park, Sedgefield, to the Architectural and Archaeological Society of Durham and Northumberland, at 141 Elvet Riverside, opposite the Three Tuns Hotel, in Durham, at 2.30pm on Saturday, March 8. Entrance is free.
