AN inquest has been opened into the sudden death at home of a mother of three. Jayne Bell, 34, collapsed at her home in Cowper Road, Stockton, on Monday.

She died shortly after arriving at the University Hospital of North Tees, Stockton. The Middlesbrough inquest was adjourned yesterday for further inquiries.

NATURE TRAIL: People can see the work which has taken place to improve the River Tees for wildlife with a guided walk by the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust. BLAZE CASUALTY: Firefighters had to give oxygen to a woman overcome by fumes when her bedroom in Trimdon Avenue, Acklam, Middlesbrough, filled with smoke during a fire which destroyed a bookshelf and a television.
