The match against Bournemouth on Saturday didn't provide the result we wanted, but we were pleased to come away with a clean sheet and another point to add to our total.

Everybody is desperate to get back to winning ways and we will be trying our hardest to do this on Saturday against Kidderminster.

Even though our form and results haven't been the greatest of late we are still in a great position to make sure we achieve our aims for the season.

I managed to watch the majority of the England game on Saturday night and I have to say I wasn't overly impressed.

Even though it is the result that matters it would have been nice to see an England team play with a swagger and pass the ball around a bit more.

There will be an excellent atmosphere tomorrow night at the Stadium of Light for the Turkey game but we cannot afford to lose, and if we do I fear the worst for Sven.

He's had his troubles in the past and the situation could come to a head if Turkey win.

Also it was nice to see my mate Craig Liddle score again at the weekend, even if it was a penalty.

But I am sure he won't mind how the goals go in and I think, with another positive result, Darlington should be safe from relegation.
