A LAST-minute change has been made to the cast of a forthcoming show.
The Theatre Royal, in Newcastle, has announced that Alison Newman, who plays the chain-smoking lesbian agent in ITV1's Footballers' Wives will join the cast of The Vagina Monologues.
She will appear alongside Sorcha Cusack, from Casualty, and Mina Anwar, from The Thin Blue Line, in the week beginning Monday, April 14.
Ms Newman replaces Gwyneth Strong, who starred in Only Fools and Horses, and has bowed out due to other commitments.
