ARTISTS helped celebrate the beauty of North Yorkshire's rolling Howardian Hills at the weekend.
Up Shoots was the culmination of a year-long project commissioned by Rural Arts North Yorkshire, in Thirsk.
They encouraged photographer Tessa Bunney and writer Pat Borthwick to explore the hills, an official Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through their creative talents.
In turn, they worked with local people to produce photographs and poetry.
The work was on display in Terrington village hall, alongside demonstrations of traditional crafts.
