COUNCILLORS are being asked to approve plans for a three-storey block of flats despite objections.
Stockton Borough Council has received a planning application to demolish Little Corby Lodge, a dormer bungalow, in Marquis Grove, Norton, and replace it with a three-storey block of 18 flats.
The council has received 17 letters of objection with the majority concerned about increased traffic levels, overdevelopment of the area and shortage of parking spaces.
The plans have been recommended for approval by planning officers.
