Middlesbrough Council will reveal the results of its search to find the town's top 20 personalities tomorrow.

The search is part of the council's celebrations to mark its 150th anniversary. Earlier this year, a list of 150 people who were born or had connections with the town was posted on the Internet.

Enlarged images of the chosen top 20 will be given pride of place in a main exhibition at the town's Dorman Museum.

Included in the list were explorer James Cook, ironmasters Henry Bolckow and John Vaughan, footballers Brian Clough, Don Revie, George Hardwick and Wilf Mannion; archaeologist Frank Elgee and artist William Tillyer.
