A MAN who indecently assaulted an 11-year-old girl after showing her child porn on his computer was jailed for two years yesterday.
David Elliott, 35, introduced the girl to chatlines and showed her his mobile phone containing numbers of prostitutes, Deborah Sherwin, prosecuting, told Teesside Crown Court.
Judge Les Spittle told Elliott, who was not related to the girl: "You utilised an innocent relationship for your own gratification. It must have been a frightening experience for her."
Elliott, of Chelmsford Street, Darlington, pleaded guilty to indecent assault and to downloading child porn from the Internet.
He was jailed for two years and ordered to register as a sex offender for ten years.
