Jamie Cann and Graham Greenwell from Stockton, Cleveland travelled to the Cricket World Cup final in South Africa last week, and didn't pay a penny.
The friends won the trip of a lifetime competition, run by Vodafone, for an unforgettable four day trip to the Cricket World Cup final in Johannesburg.
Jamie had signed up for the Cricket on the Fone text alert service and was automatically entered into a competition for a trip for two to watch the match.
Jamie and Graham enjoyed four nights accommodation, return flights and, most importantly being cricket enthusiasts, the opportunity to watch the final of world cricket's biggest event.
Ricky Ponting's Australian side amassed their highest One Day International total ever, completely overwhelming the beleaguered Indians, with Ponting himself smashing a magnificent century as the favourites retained the trophy they won in England in 1999.
On his return home, Jamie said: "The trip was a dream.
"The weather was great - it was 13 degrees in Stockton and 33 degrees in South Africa and I got a sun tan in the middle of March!
"The cricket was brilliant and the atmosphere at the Wanderers Stadium was something else.
"What more could you ask for, other than England being in the final! We even spent a day designer shopping in Santon Square before jetting back."
