VOTERS in Stockton are urged to watch out for a special delivery on Sunday.
Stockton Borough Council is taking part in a pilot scheme in next month's local elections when every elector will be voting by post only. The ballot papers will be delivered by hand to registered electors on Sunday.
Voters are asked to vote without being observed and return the marked ballot paper as soon as possible. The return envelope must be posted using any Royal Mail post box or Post Office, or it can be returned by hand to the letter box at the front of the Municipal Buildings in Church Road, Stockton.
Votes must be received no later than 9pm on Thursday, May 1. Envelopes received after the deadline will not be counted.
