S CLUB will be hoping to make a splash at the Scarborough Sea Life Centre from today, but visitors should not expect them to sing a note.
The new stars can manage the odd guttural croak, but the six Peruvian Humboldt penguins enjoying their new enclosure at one of the town's most popular attractions are never going to challenge their pop namesakes, S Club 7, for a place in the charts.
Displays curator Paul Bullimore said: "They're all around a year or so old and they're all real characters.
"It's quite comical to watch them finding their way around the new enclosure, specially when they all try to climb on to the same rock.
"We're sure they're going to be a big hit.''
