CHILDREN are being invited to think of a name and design a logo and badge for a nature reserve in Guisborough.
Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's countryside wardens will be organising a series of activity days, most of which will be in the town's Stumps Cross community centre.
It is also a chance for the public to comment on a draft management plan for the development of disused railway lines and Beckside Park.
They will be encouraged to talk to the wardens about options for managing and improving the site for wildlife and people.
Children will have the chance to take part in crafts and competitions to name the reserve, and design a logo and badge for it.
The activity days will take place on Monday and next Friday, at Stumps Cross community centre, from 1pm to 3pm; on Thursday, April 24, at Sunnyfield House, from 6pm to 8pm; Friday, April 25, at Stumps Cross community centre, from 1pm to 3pm; and all day on Saturday, April 26, in the priory grounds.
