A NEW board member has been appointed by the NHS Appointments Commission to join the Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust.
Heather Limbach has accepted the post of non-executive director and takes up her duties with immediate effect.
From Sowerby, near Thirsk, Mrs Limbach is a lecturer at New College, Durham.
She is also a trustee of the Hambleton Citizens' Advice Bureau and a former member of the Northallerton and District Community Health Council. She has also been a reviewer for the Commission for Health Improvement since its inception two years ago.
