City of York Council has closed Carr Lane, York, to allow repairs to a collapsed sewer.
The lane, between its junctions with Boroughbridge Road and Almsford Road, will reopen on Wednesday.
During this period, a diversion will take motorists along Boroughbridge Road, Beckfield Lane, Wetherby Road, The Green and York Road.
