A NEW board member has been appointed to join the Hambleton and Richmondshire Primary Care Trust by the NHS Appointments Commission.
Heather Limbach has accepted the post of non-executive director.
A resident of Sowerby, near Thirsk, Mrs Limbach is a lecturer at New College, Durham. She is also a trustee of the Hambleton Citizens Advice Bureau and a former member of the Northallerton and District Community Health Council.
She has also been a reviewer for the Commission for Health Improvement since its inception two years ago. The commission is responsible for improving the quality of healthcare in the NHS.
