CHILTON Partnership has been given funding for its Football in the Community programme until March 2006.
The award has come from Durham County Council and Positive Futures.
Football in the Community provides basic football coaching from Darlington Football Club for children aged five to 16. Training is open to boys and girls. Sessions cost £1 and are held at Chilton Community College.
Classes for children aged from five to eight run from 4pm to 5pm, with sessions for nine to 16-year-olds taking place from 5pm to 6pm.
