ARMY recruiting teams will be touring the region as part of a campaign to inform youngsters about career options.
Representatives of the three North-East regiments, the Royal Logistics Corps, the 7th Light Infantry and the 4th Royal Artillery, will be in Darlington, Thirsk, Northallerton and Newton Aycliffe on Monday and Tuesday.
They will be talking to young people about skills, travel and training opportunities available as part of an Army career.
Warrant officer Garry Bennett said: "We know that the best way for young people to find out about what life is really like in the Army is for them to speak directly to serving soldiers, so we are going out and about to give them a chance to do so."
