A SERIES of networking events has been scheduled which are designed to give regional companies an extra edge to their businesses.

Excellence Yorkshire, a not-for-profit organisation which works with Yorkshire Forward to promote the region's competitiveness, will teach firms about the advantages of adopting its business model.

The programme launches with an Introduction to Business Excellence session on May 16, which will be repeated on June 10 for newcomers to Excellence interested in improving their companies' business performance.

A half-day process mapping masterclass is scheduled for May 20 and is to be repeated on June 5.

Excellence Yorkshire will host a process facilitation masterclass on June 24, where assessors and experts from the networking community, with wide-ranging business knowledge, will be on hand to solve delegate companies' problems.

Broken down into half-day classes, the events are all being held at Tibbett and Britten Group's Whitwood office, near Castleford, off the M62.
