POPULAR Radio 4 programme Any Questions will be broadcast from Tony Blair's Sedgefield constituency tomorrow - the day after the local government elections.

Dr Tony Wright, chairman of the Public Administration Select Committee, is the final addition to the panel for the programme, which will broadcast from Spennymoor Leis-ure Centre tomorrow.

Presented by Jonathan Dimbleby, it will air after the 8pm news and be repeated at 1.15pm the following day to an estimated audience of 1 million.

Joining Dr Wright on the panel are John Bercow, Conservative MP for Buckingham, Simon Hughes the Liberal Democrat home affairs spokesman and Paralympic Gold Medallist Tanni Grey-Thompson.

Tickets are available from any of the borough's four leisure centres in Spennymoor, Newton Aycliffe, Shildon or Ferryhill.

To put a question to the panel, complete the question section, take it with you on the night and place it in the Any Questions post box at Spennymoor Leisure Centre.

A spokesman said: "Any Questions is the programme that gives people the chance to influence national debate on topical issues by putting a question directly to a panel of four leading public figures during a live broadcast.

"Questions may have national or international significance, or touch on social, economic or moral issues.

"The unexpected questions keep the panel on their toes, so witty and humorous questions are always welcome."
