Around £2,000 worth of cannabis and heroin was recovered from a house in Middlesbrough following a drugs raid on Thursday evening.
At around 5pm, officers from the District Drugs Unit and the District Support Unit acted on information from the community of drug dealing activities in Egerton Street, Middlesbrough.
A 40-year-old man was arrested after heroin and cannabis, worth around £2,000, stolen clothing, a radio scanner, a dozen mobile phones and £500 in cash were found at the house.
He was expected to be questioned today.
Following the arrest a further search was carried out at an address in the town's Devonshire Road, where crack cocaine and heroin valued at £300 was recovered along with £300 in cash.
A 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of drugs with intent to supply and has been bailed pending results of further forensic examinations.
