ONE of the Army's sharpest shooters will keep an eye on visitors to a family fun day tomorrow.
The Four Clocks Centre, in Newgate Street, Bishop Auckland, County Durham, will host the event, to be opened at 10am by Tyne Tees Television's Andy Kluz, to celebrate its first anniversary.
The £1.2m scheme to convert a Wesleyan Methodist Church was officially opened by local MP Derek Foster last year, after more than five years of fundraising and planning to create the community facility.
One of the main attractions on the day will be a paintball range, provided and supervised by members of Durham Light Infantry's recruiting team.
Warrant Officer Tony Masters, manager of the town's Army Careers Information Office and a former clay pigeon shooting champion, will be on hand to oversee the event.
