A MISSING mother has contacted her family - almost two weeks after disappearing.
But police and Jacqueline Swift's husband, John, are asking her to get in touch again, because she did not tell them where she is.
Mr Swift has made daily pleas for his wife to contact him since she went missing on Easter Monday from the couple's home in Hartlepool.
The mother-of-five was spotted on closed-circuit television cameras at about 8.15pm at her local shop, but has not been seen since.
Police inquiries into her disappearance had drawn a blank, but on Thursday evening Mrs Swift contacted her family and police.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "She gave no details as to the cause of her disappearance, nor to her whereabouts.
"Police would like Mrs Swift to make contact with them again to let them know she is safe and well."
Mrs Swift can call Hartlepool police on (01642) 302126.
