BIRDS of prey will be on display at the eighth Teesdale Game Fair at Witton Castle near Witton-le-Wear.
The fair next Saturday and Sunday is open from 9am to 6pm on both days.
It will feature clay shooting, with heavy involvement from the British Association for Shooting and Conservation, but fish, fowl, fur and feather will all be well represented.
The birds of prey, which include hawks, owls, falcons, buzzards and eagles, are from Ridgeside Falconry Displays.
Bill Rossendale will be in the main arena with his Rossendale sheepdogs, with the Cheshire dog display team and the Imps motorcycle display team.
Elsewhere on the showground there will be racing and competitions courtesy of the National Terrier and Lurcher Association and the Fell and Moorland Working Terrier Club.
Angling is making its debut with the Weardale Fly Fishers and Tiers.
Tickets cost £7 for adults, £3 children, while infants will be admitted free. A family tickets admitting two adults and up to three children costs £20.
