A 17-year-old youth is due to appear in court today facing charges related to the theft of vehicles from a compound.
He will appear before Hartlepool magistrates charged with a number of offences, including aggravated vehicle-taking, driving while disqualified, excess alcohol and driving without insurance.
He was arrested after a number of vehicles were reported stolen from a compound containing about 2,000 Vauxhall cars in Greenland Road, Hartlepool.
